I must be on the right track, or at least doing something right because Patrick Carman actually created his own “official” response to this website in a video he posted.
If you watch the video carefully he never confirms or denies anything. He just avoids the subject. No straight answers, no explanation, no details. What’s he not telling us?
Haunted Back Lot
These videos came directly off of Patrick Carman’s own website. Whoever put these videos together was obviously trying to show there’s more to this than meets the eye. The guy with the camera asked a lot of people what the truth behind the story was and no one
was willing to tell him what they knew.
I’m not paranoid, I just know when people are hiding something. 2:30 AM and I need sleep.
One last thing: I think the RABBIT guy made these videos. I think it’s the same person.
Hi guys, I’m reopening the site to discuss what is happening. I’ve heard a lot of rumors about Skeleton Creek: The Crossbones. According to my source (some guy that used to work for the author), the book is more about other places around the country that are haunted, including the Winchester Mansion in California. I figured with this new person having the inside scoop on everything I could ask him how much of this is real. He got quiet and said he didn’t know much, and that everything is kept under lock and key. The last thing he said before hanging up was “it’s hard to tell how deep the RABBIT hole goes.”
I didn’t do anything for about a week, but I kept thinking about the way he basically yelled the word rabbit in my ear. I just typed RABBIT into www.sarahfincher.com. What else was I going to do with it?
No video, but there was an audio file. I think it’s safe to say this wasn’t supposed to be heard by just anyone. It’s Sarah, telling Ryan some things. It’s not what she says that bothers me, it’s the voice on the recording. It’s different. I mean it’s not the actor.
I think it might be the real Sarah, the one we’ve all been looking for.
Ok, it’s 2AM and I’ve finally finished the last of my preparations, I’m leaving tomorrow morning for Sumpter. I’ve made some last minute changes to the site, I posted a walk through to replace the outdated artifacts page and I put a link to this blog post for discussion.
I noticed that somebody has started a forum here:
In case anything happens you should probably go there to talk about Skeleton Creek.
Now that I’m this close to leaving for the dredge Ryan McCray is creeping back into my head again. He’s who set everything in motion, he’s the only person who really knows what’s happened in that dredge, and I can’t stop thinking about if he’s been watching this whole thing unfold.
Ok I need sleep. I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but I have to go regardless, I just have to. I’ll see you guys later.
Ok this is it, I’ve finally got a car with four wheel drive and I’m going up to Sumpter again. I’m pretty sure I can make it this time, I’ll be heading up on Sunday so expect to see the footage posted on Monday. Just in case I don’t make it back, I’m going to set up a place for discussion so people aren’t hunting through all of the different blog posts and video comments in the future, so if anything happens go there to talk about it and keep everybody informed.
I can’t say I feel all that good about this trip, after seeing that Oldie Joyful Win video it’s hard to push back the fear of what or who I might find in that dredge. Who is that guy anyway? From the name of the youtube account it looks like WL could stand for Walter Legrand, the guy on the registration for haunteddredges.com, but we don’t know who that is either. And the creepiest thing is, he’s obviously watching us.
There’s too many unkowns in this whole mess, I don’t like it.
